At each class, UC-VEG provides a brief introduction on the importance of shifting toward a more plant-centered diet, as suggested by the US Dietary Guidelines, World Health Organization, Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and other leading experts. This is followed by an exploration of practical ways to make the experience convenient, fun, affordable and delicious!
At each stand-alone class, UC-VEG's cooking demonstrators show you how to prepare your kitchen, shop for and create tasty dishes around a new theme!
Remember to bring your appetite as samples will be provided for each dish. You are also welcome to bring your own fork and spoon to save on plastic utensils.
There is a sliding scale suggested donation for this class of $2-$15/person.
